Ford. 40 P. DISS THESES (M.Sc.) -- University college of North Wales, Department of Applied Zoology, 1972 Aphids are vectors of pathogenic viruses in plants. They have marked temperature optima which differ from one species to another. Some indications of the situation in aphid fabae are provided and discussed in the present works. Apterous adult A fabae and two-or three-week-old beans plants are used during this study. The effect of temperature on reproduction and survival of A fabae has been demonstrated.
